This research delves into the political economy of regional trade, with a particular focus on the strategic importance of Gwadar. The study investigates the diverse impacts of Gwadar on trade routes, cost efficiencies, and economic growth in Pakistan and the surrounding regions. By blending economic and political factors, this research offers a comprehensive analysis, utilizing the latest data and developments to provide an updated perspective on Gwadar's role in regional trade networks. Additionally, the research explores the consequences of Gwadar's development on regional rivalries, especially between Pakistan, India, and China, and its potential to alter trade flows and economic partnerships.
